Hardened Hearts
This was a phenomenal read. The author did an outstanding job highlighting the effects of trauma and just how far it can go. The story had a slow build but once it got going it did not stop. Wow. There is a lot to unpack and process with this book. I am blown away and I cannot wait to read another book by this author!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Road to Malevolence 1
A unique read that follows a 9-year-old girl’s descent into madness. I didn’t know whether to feel bad for Janet or afraid of her. I usually would not read something from a child’s POV, but the author made it entertaining enough to make it through. Interested to see what happens in the next book.

I Should Have Worn a Curtain 1
I’m mad I took so long to read this. Despite the subject matter, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I loved the humor used to tell this story, it made it down-to-earth and relatable. Only 77 pages but packed with so much. FYI: yes Mike wanted to help but he got on my nerves. LOL.

The Hostage
I saw this book on TikTok, as a result of my obsession with beautiful covers, I had to read this psychological thriller! The Hostage follows Brandy and Zane, two people I wanted to strangle although I couldn’t stop reading their story. As this unimaginable drama unfolded I was hooked, left flabbergasted, and extremely satisfied.
